INTRODUCTION:

Tiruchirappalli Parliamentary Constituency occupies around 2381769 voters->males 1208013 females 1173588 and others 168. In tiruchirappalli Parliamentary Lok Sabha Constituency Election 2014 eminent political parties and Regional parties contribute candidates. Not only the eminent parties such as CPM, AIADMK, DMK,VCK,Congress etc but also 10 other candidates participating in it.

The Trichy unit of the state's ruling party, AIADMK, launched its campaign for the Lok Sabha election. Party workers conducted a door-to-door canvassing in chief minister J Jayalalithaa's Srirangam constituency . The message that party workers said to voters was that the AIADMK plans to replicate its social welfare measures at the national level. Sitting MP P Kumar, who is also the AIADMK Lok Sabha constituency candidate.

P Kumar, Trichy MP, has once again been nominated by the AIADMK from the same constituency for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The announcement was made by AIADMK leader J.Jayalalitha. P.Kumar is 42 years old and  He is son of palanivel and he resides in ponnmalaipatti ,Trichy.Mr.P.Kumar is married. He is an advocate and member of parliament.

The DMK candidate Anbalagan’s educational qualification is B.sc., and M.A and he is currently doing his own business. In Trichy actress Khusboo campaigned for anbalagan. DMK's Trichy conference has brought party treasurer and youth wing leader M K Stalin on to the centre stage again. The political heir apparent of DMK chief M Karunanidhi stole the show  and leaders vying with each other in singing paeans to the future face of DMK.

Loksatta Party announced its fourth candidate for parliament elections. Mr. M. Karunakaran  contested from Trichy constituency representing Loksatta Party.Mr. Karunakaran (age 45) is a former Councillor from Pudukottai municipality. He is a social activist and has involved in many protests to reclaim the rights of the underprivileged.

BJP party candidate has a massive impression among Trichy people because of the Rally done by their leader MODI. The huge crowds at Narendra Modi's recent rally in Trichy have triggered minor political tremors in Tamil Nadu. Even senior DMK leaders concede that the response to the rally has proved that the Modi factor cannot be discounted in TN . The battlelines may be drawn with DMK moving tentatively closer to the Congress and the AIADMK determined to go it alone with perhaps just the two Left parties for company but the emerging view seems to be that the Modi rally may shape the contours of pre-poll alliances further.

Asusual Aam aadmi party campaigned simply in the roads. They used their caps which was helpful to the people to recognize them. There was a good response among people. The broomsticks are the best thing which attracted the people because of their uniqueness and differentiality from others. All the young members campaigned for aam aadmi in Trichy. Yet there is no huge impact among the people.
