STRATEGY
AIADMK
AIADMK always uses a campaigning
strategy that is mainly expected by all the main slogan of the AIADMK being
“AMMA” and the three year achievements of the AIADMK government. the social
media also played an important role in the campaign of the AIADMK.
Chief minister DR.J.Jayalalithaa
campaigned in parts of south Chennai by van on the last phase of the election
campaign. The AIADMK had less communication strategy for campaigning in south
Chennai as the party is much confident in winning this seat as most of the
assembly constituencies lying in this lok sabha constituency is with the AIADMK
and the sitting MP of the seat also belongs to this party. several actors were
also roped in for the campaign.
DMK
DMK election campaign was little bit
different this time as the party did a campaign similar to a assembly election
rather than the lok sabha election only the key issue of the DMK campaign is
the criticism of the AIADMK government and its policies. The main communication
strategy of the DMK was rallies and roadshows.
DMK leader MK stalin was the key
speaker and the DMK chief M.Karunanidhi also held a rally in the last phase of
campaigning. Social media like facebook and twitter promoted DMK in a higher
way.'
BJP
BJP which has a strong alliance of six
parties witnessed many personalities campaigning for the party candidate in
this constituency including the prime ministerial candidate of the party shri
Narendra Modi who campaigned for south Chennai constituency at A.M Jain college
Chennai and we could also witness others like DMDK leader vijayakanth who were
campaigning for the party candidate.social media,sms and tv advertisements also
played a very big role.

congress campaign was dull in terms of the south Chennai constituency as none
of the top leaders of the party were campaigning for the candidate
AAP
Aam Admi party also didn’t
have any great communication strategy for campaigning.
